New Grandparents

Hi

its Day 4.

We have a jaundice checkup in the morning

 

So my parents came by the house last night.

 

My parents are new grandparents.  I think its strange for my Dad, but he is very happy.  He has pictures on his laptop and computer desktop already.

 

He held her for a little bit, and was a little scared, but he will be ok.

 

My Mom is a pro at handling babies.

 

but i found older generation his some different views and techniques for taking care of the baby.

 

Some things are old wives tales

some things are truth.

 

Every baby is different, and every situation is different

 

Sleep:

 

Feeding 10 pm - 50 ML

1:30 AM - Woke up: 3.5 hrs not bad! - Feeding 50 ML - Urine in diaper no poop

4:45 AM woke up: 3.25 hrs - Feeding 50 ML

5:30 never went to sleep, stayed up with us, and I got ready for work.  Another 10 ML.

Poopie diaper.

 

I know the baby will grow every day

and develop in her brain everyday.

 

When i can get her to understand supply and demand, and compounding interest, THEN, my work will be done.

Also, look both ways before you cross the street is a key lesson.

 

Right now, eye movement, and seeing if she sees things in her peripheral vision and moves over is a good sign.
