Snoring update

Ok,
so the gargle is not 100% a solution, but it is an abatement.

We will see. i am going to test out the spray tonight.

bowling update.
Our team is 6 and 2 in the new season. We bowled well.
Sora had a 200+ game in as many as 2 weeks. She seems to be doing much better. Overall doing great.

last night, 1 game, our whole team really kicked butt. We all got over 200, each person. that put us in the lead in 2 money categories. So that my be nice. If we can hold on.

I bowled ok. 575 series acrosss 3 games. Pretty good average.
but my avg has dipped some.

my mother in law is in the house . To see eleanor, and just to hang out.

my wife started watching "Queen of the Game". its a pretty good drama.

New pics online.

Eleanor is doing great. She no longer had cold symptoms.

i have a little sore throat. So Ricola in the pockets everyday.

Snore Relief

Hi,

Since I got married, i guess i started snoring. Actually before I got married, i slept alone, so I may have not known I snored.

But as of late, it's been harder for my wife to get sleep.
Honestly, when i am in the state between deep sleep and being awake, i can hear myself snore. Not all the time, but sometimes.

Thats weird hearing yourself snore.

Anyhow, it's been hard for Sora. She has been more iritable and not getting enough sleep.

My friends Sam and Michelle recommeded a snoring spray to help with the snoring. Apparently some men solve their problems right away.

I found some good research online at http://www.putanendtosnoring.com/

They have a questionaire that tells you about the type of snoring, is it deep sleep apnea etc etc.

We went to walgreens and got a couple products

1. The breathe right strips for the nose. Small/Medium size.
2. Breathe Right Throat Rinse.
3. Throat Spray.

Last night, after washing up and taking my contacts, I applied a nose strip.
Then I used the throat rinse. It's like a minty gargle. But Don't swallow.

Sleep. I slept very good.
In the middle of the night around 2 am, i woke up Sora. She was in deep sleep, but i needed to ask her. Did I snore?

Well she said no. It must be working, but don't wake me up again.

haha, so the snoring stopped and she was in deep sleep, but I woke her up. She can't win.

Tomorrow night, i dont plan to ask her if I snored. I just hope the throat rinse keeps working.

Thankfully, we didn't think there was much of a solution, but this rinse thing is good. Cheap.

Deep sleep for everyone.

Until eleanor starts teething. haha

Day 199

Hi,

Craziness. it is Day 199 of Eleanor's Life.
So much has happened to her, and with us

Quick Hits.
1. Eagles got jobbed in the playoffs by the NFL. Then New Orleans goes into Chicago and gets smoked anyhow. Reggie bush taunts players, then gets shut out. He is in deep doo doo with these recorded conversations with agents and stuff. USC, rings, heisman trophy... i hope you are ready to give a refund...

2. I got my Real Estate License. Finally on January 22nd 2007, i drove out to harrisburgh and processed my application in person. Commercial, Residential, Property Management, Business Brokerage. I am your man. I am formalizing a relationship with a mortgage company to become a loan officer as well.

Full Doc, Stated Income, Stated Asset, No Doc, come one, come all!

I am trying to be a jack of all trades as it turns out. But if you are interested in becoming involved in an investment, please comment, or call me. Comment first, then i will email you. I don't like posting emails publically, It leads to tons of spam spam spam.

3. Eleanor is growing up. She went thru her first cold/flu in the past week. Stuffiness mainly. Then she has been doing better.

4. Eleanor can psuedo crawl. She understands the mechanics of getting from A to B by wiggling across the floor. now we really have to babyproof the house.

5. The PBA tour will have to wait, since 2006, my average has dropped about 6 points. I think the grasshopper must grow some more first.

6. Sora has the flu now. I am trying to help her, but i have gotten considerably busier since the license kicked in.

New pics are online.

New link to my friends from DTS. Brian and Emily McCutchen. They are bears fans, so forgive them... Both originally west coasters, but they went to school in Chi-Town. They have a baby on the way as well! Check em out.

It's fully winter time here in philly, but not much snow. I would like a good dumping, so we can move some rock salt...

6 months

Hi,

Eleanor is now officially six months old.

188 days to be exact. She is doing pretty good.

She was a little cranky the last couple of days. most likely because the eagles lost on saturday.

So this morning, Sora was trying to feed eleanor cereals. She didn't want any, then when i sat down with my pancake, eggs and turkey bacon, she was interested. I think she saw me eating, then she was motivated.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a motivated eater in the house...

Anyhow, i have to admit, yesterday, i forgot to take a picture of eleanor.
So 01-14 in the photo album will be skipped.

i could have cheated and sent over a pic from 01-15 or something, but eh...

Sora bought some breathe right strips for my snoring. I know how to breathe!

I hope it helps, honestly, i wake myself up sometimes, i hear my own snoring. When i am in the state between sleeping and being awake. I hear it sometimes. Its kind of weird. I don't have sleep apnea. I dont think

So it's been about 10 days since i passed my license test for pennsylvania. I have not chosen a broker yet. Or a broker has not chosen me...
I will decided by the end of this week. I hope.

But last week, i had a good meeting with a mortgage broker. He has agreed to hire me as a mortgage originator as well. I won't actively market the mortgage work, but will help people who want to see if we can get competitive with our rates. We'll see.

I also had a great conversation with my prof from real estate investment, Joe Glennon. He helped me out some with some questions.

I keep collecting business cards from people I meet. I guess thats what happens now.

Anyhow. phillies pitchers and catchers report to clearwater florida in 30 days. Another season will begin.

Sora is getting her wisdom tooth pulled on wednesday, so i may have to help out a little more

Yesterday we had crabcakes yesterday. We made them at home with some premium canned crabmeat. Pretty good. why are they so expensive in the restaurants?

Ok enough rambling today

baby constipattion...

Hello Folks

what to do for baby constipation?
I think most parents with babies already know.

Gerber Stage 1 PRUNES.

ok i think for most people in general... prunes = lots of doo doo. And not much straining.

I kind of noticed on satuday afternoon, the baby was straining. like adults strain.

Then i checked her diaper, and it was like 1 little tootsie roll. the small 10 cent kind.

So, sora broke out the prunes.

Eleanor likes prunes...

After that, next day... BAM

Lots and lots of it. Dark smooth poop.

Eleanor is doign great. Grandma and Grandpa Kang are visiting from VA this week, so she should have lots of fun!

Bowling restarts after a 2 week break.

Happy belated new year

Hi,

Happy new year to my few readers. I know its fallen off since the beginning. It's ok.

1. Christmas was great!

2. New years was great! Eleanor got some gifts to add to her college fund. So thanks to all the relatives for that. Little do they know i plan to groom my daughter to get a full ride somewhere as a left or right handed volleyball powerhouse. Or maybe Golfer. or musician? Be whatever you wanna be baby! Just let it pay for college. hehehe

This is how we do it in our family. Bow in respect to our family members. Wish them another prosperous year and long life.

Then they say thank you and pass you an envelope. Eleanor got into it too! She thinks that red envelope is food! She will learn soon enough!

Eleanor is doing so well. During new years we were out of the house from 9:30 am until 8 pm, and she was awesome! Not too much whining, and not too much crying. Everyone was so impressed.

Honestly, i think Sora has done a great job raising eleanor. She is such a good girl. both of them! haha

It is actually going so good with Eleanor's sleep patterns at night that Sora is able to get more sleep. Except when is out late with my cousins watching "DreamGirls" My sister liked the movie so much, she got the soundtrack for it. Me and Sora both like Jennifer Hudson. I liked her a lot during american idol.

So in retrospect, thanks again to Ej and Michelle, and their help and encouragement, Eleanor is pretty much full sleep trained. I would also like to thank my wife. For working together to make it happen. She was tempted many nights to go in and try and calm eleanor down. And sometimes i was tempted, but we stopped each other. Eleanor sleeps like a champ. 10 hours minimum!

We all get sleep, we all aren't cranky. Even Sora has now been timelining when to have our next child! Maybe after our aruba 2007 trip. hehehe.

On wednesday, i took my Real Estate Sales Agent exam. I was relatively prepared, but still nervous. The test was tricky, the wording was vague and not as easy as I thought. But thanks to my instructors at Temple University: Jon Orens real estate mogul, and Theresa Stigale another real estate mogul, i passed both sections. 30 questions on Pennsylvania Real Estate Law, and 80 questions on the National Real Estate Law. You find out right when you take the test. I was relieved.

I have not finished the process yet. I am in the process of choosing a broker of record to work with. Then i will drive my application down to harrisburg (technically not down, west to harrisburg ) then get started on what i hope to be a prosperous and successful real estate career. IN addition to my professional bowling aspirations.

Some notes on Real Estate licensing and prep. The school you choose to take the courses is key. I found temple univerisity to be excellent. Why? the instructors are knowledgable and bring a lot of color to what might be considered a dry subject. They are also knowledge base for the future. Lots of places can give you the hours, and help you crash course just to get the license, but real estate is so complicated sometimes. I mean really a pain in the butt, and you can make a lot of money, or lose a lot of money if you don't have the fundamentals down.

When i thought real estate mogul, i thought they lied, cheated and stole to get whatever they wanted, but these two professionals i met as instructors were awesome. And they played by the rules and respected thats all licensed real estate professionals are like a brotherhood or fellowship. It was good to see that.

I hope when it's all said and done the same will be said for me.

Bowling starts next week. I am planning on getting some new bowling shoes, thanks to my sister in law So Young for that. She chipped in for some new kicks.

I am about 10 pins away in terms of average to make my PBA goal. We shall see!

Ok, well, another resolution. If i start practicing real estate and meeting with possible customers, i have to bring up the level of my attire. Suits, sport coats, etc. I only fit into 1 suit i own. I have 4. Navy pinstripe, charcoal pinstripe, grey spring suit, navy solid suit. 1 of 4 fits, so i have to trim down my waistline. Not just for health, but because i am too cheap to buy new suits!

Not so i can live longer and be healthier, but because i am cheap! hahaha

So, turbojam, here i come. Goal, get waistline down to 31.5 Currently 33. 1.5 inches? I hope i can do it, because there is tons and tons of clothes in storage that i know i can fit into again.

Ok
Have a good first week of the year! or second.

Sam
