while driving

I was wondering if this has ever happened to you.

You are driving your car.

Then you have a flashback of a time when you spoke out of your butt and reall believed what you said
Example: Friends talking about philadelphia basketball. I said and i quote: "I would take a trade for Kobe for Iverson straight up any day of the week" This was before alleged transgressions in Colorado.

I believed in the statement, but in retrospect, i was really not being smart.

I've said some things in the Christian context, some statements out of my misunderstanding or limited training. I said it, confidently, but in retrospect, i couldnt have been more wrong.

the problem is people heard me say those things. Man! Then you can only laugh.
ok, if it was a hurtful statement, then maybe you seek out the person you hurt and make things right. Like My name is Earl, he has some list of people he has wronged.

Anyhow, getting older, you think, i have more experience, so i should be wiser? WRONG AGAIN!

So do I just become a mute?
Do i preface every opinion by saying: "I may be wrong?"
How do you even give advice to other youngsters. * Youngsters means anyone younger than you.

I dont want to become some middle of the road on the fence guy.

As you get older you see the idiocy of your past.

Don't be some turtle or ostrich, but i guess you dont have to be some blowhard buffoon.

haha

maybe its just me.
