Day 28

4 weeks offically today!



I can't believe its 4 weeks now. When we took this picture eleanor is a little but unhappy, but look how much she has grown in 4 weeks. She looks so big already.

We kind of took some emergency pictures. In an effort to make 365 days of eleanor chon, we were supposed to me taking pics of the baby everyday. I got home from work and no one had taken the initiative to take pics of Eleanor.

I just took a shower to get the warehouse dust off my body, and came downstairs to give eleanor a little kiss since i didnt see her all day. BAM. one kiss and she woke up. Not like sleeping beauty wake up, but WAILING beauty wake up. Dang. So it took me about 15 minutes to calm and soothe her.


See she is happy now.

I was actually in a rush to the 3rd floor media room to setup my new HP DVD Burner. I have been making a lot of DVDs and CDs since the baby has been born. It came bundled with the NERO burning ROM. Very good software.

Actual Uses:
1.DVDs of the video footage we were shooting from the Canon Elura 100.
2. Archive DVDs 4.7 GB of AVI files just in case my HD crashes
3. Audio Book jukebox MP3. I have been a new book kick lately. I have actually read 3 books in the past month! Also i have been listening to Audio Books or sermons while driving in the car. Rather than listening to Sportstalk in the AM.

After making the DVDs i was just using a sharpie marker to label them. I found this looked unprofessional and amateurish. So I invested in a new DVD burner with lightscribe technology. Lightscribe allows users to burn a greyscale image onto the front side of the burned disc.

I will post image example when i toast my first image.

Media is important as well. www.meritline.com seems to have the best choices and pricing for blank CDs and DVDs. I always use DVD-R. I dont know why, but someone told me its better and more compatible with units.

Note: with Nero Burning ROM the plus is you can make MINI DVDs. That means a DVD format disc, but on a CD-R. Only 700 MB is information. But for home videos its not easy to fill up 4.7 GB of usable footage. So the software is a lot more versatile than Sonic Record now. (sonic comes free with lots of Dells and Sonys. but for cool features they want you to buy it.

I have an old 16 x DVD burner for sale. it also burns cds 40x. let me know

We are going to the pediatrician on tuesday AM. Follow up for vaccinations and other stuff.
