Doctors visit #2

Hey

we went to the doctor's office.

So far this baby has cost me $40.00 in co pays. $20.00 for the prenatal visits and delivery

$10.00 x 2 for the pediatrician visits

Tip: Do not pay co pays in cash. They seems to magically disappear, then these annoying bills come from some billing department in tennessee. Now people from tennessee are quite pleasant, unless they are bill collectors. And i dont like getting indignant with bill collectors. pay with a credit card or check. So you have a record. Cash no good.

Whenever we have gone into the office, they ask us to strip Eleanor down to the pampers. In some communities Pampers is the word for diaper. Even if people want huggies, fittis or generics, they are called pampers. Thats brand power.

Official Weigh In: After 28 days

Baby is 8lbs 10 oz - in 25th percentile
Length is 21 inches - in 50th percentile

Its better to grow long first, anyone can gain weight later.

GROW, GROW, GROW BABY!

Actually a nurse practioner saw us today. She was very pleasant. A+ for attitude.

She just asked us questions about the baby's stool. You ever notice how our excrement is a good measure of how we are doing. Not matter how old you are, what stage of life. Whats to stool like? You are what you eat, and what you expel. now the speed, consistenty and color of the expulsion is different for everyone. I think some people have careers based on excrement. Thats no BULL! hahaha

Pediatricians office says this: If there is no blood in poop, or poop doesnt seem like hard dry pellets, then its all good. Oh yeah remember if the baby hasnt pooped in 5 days also call immediately.

Before we left, the door prize was a hepatitis shot. In the thigh man!
